Four Eyed Monsters

Technology is changing the way people form relationships. While it forms a barrier of isolation for some, it manages to bring two people together in FOUR EYED MONSTERS. Arin, a shy videographer who finds it difficult to go out and meet girls, seeks companionship by signing up with a dating site. The only response he receives is from Susan, a shy, struggling artist working as a waitress who also seeks an alternative dating situation. To avoid insincere small talk, the two begin to communicate by passing a pad of paper and pen back and forth. This imaginative, modern romantic film is refreshingly honest and raw, being timely yet timeless.

Directors Arin Crumley and Susan Buice joined us at IFFBoston 2006 to talk about their innovative use of podcasting to promote the film. We are pleased to welcome them back for the AREA PREMIERE of FOUR EYED MONSTERS. On their website there is a form where people request the film to play in their city. Boston is the third most requested city, and we are excited to finally have the opportunity to see the film here.
